Terms of service
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Provider and conclusion of contract
The provider is Auryan Ltd., Apt 5, 203, Tower Road, Sliema SLM 1602, Malta. These terms apply to reservations on the waiting list, the account with your secretary and the calendar account, for businesses and consumers alike.
You open an account by confirming your address via the link in our email. You take out a subscription at checkout with the order button; before that you can check and correct your details there. We do not store the contract text separately; these terms can be viewed here at any time.
The service
An AI works for you by email as your secretary: she arranges meetings, keeps track of follow-ups, summarises email threads and blocks time. She always writes as herself on your behalf, has no access to your inbox and takes from your calendar only when you are free or busy. Every email from her states that it comes from an AI secretary. Whether others reply or attend a meeting is beyond our control.
The calendar account is free and has no secretary; with it, our clients’ secretaries check its holder’s free times instead of asking them. Free times are not a commitment.
Your secretary’s name
You choose the part of the address before the @, and with it your secretary’s name; the name and the address are reserved together. An address is assigned to only one account at any time; the same name may occur more than once with different addresses. The following are not allowed:
- names of real people from your own circle or from the circle of your clients
- names of well-known people, and brand names
- terms that pretend to be a function, such as “Support” or “Accounts”
- offensive terms
You alone are responsible for the choice of the name: make sure that it infringes no one’s rights, harms no one and is not contrary to public morals. Our check when you reserve only supports you in this and cannot be complete. If we receive a complaint about your secretary’s name, or find such a name ourselves, we block the name for all addresses and inform you; until you have chosen a new name with a new address in your account, your secretary takes no requests. Everyone your secretary writes with will notice the change of name. We pay no compensation for the consequences (see “Your obligations”). We review reports sent to support@mysecretary.cloud. If your account is paused because no plan is running (for example after the end of the trial or of a subscription), we hold your secretary’s address for you for 90 days from that point; if you choose a plan within that time, you keep the name and the address. After that the address becomes free and may be assigned anew; your account remains as a free calendar account. You can delete your account at any time.
Trial, prices and payment
New users try the service free of charge and without a payment method; the trial ends by itself. The trial is offered once per person. There is no permanently free plan.
Prices are shown on the pricing page, plus the statutory VAT shown at checkout. Payment is made through Stripe in advance for the period you choose. Price protection: a running subscription keeps its price for as long as it runs without interruption.
Term and cancellation
A subscription runs for one month or one year and renews for the same period each time. You can cancel at any time with effect at the end of the paid period, in your account under “Plan and billing” or via “Cancel contracts here” on our website. We do not refund paid periods, not even in part; a subscription always runs to the end of its paid period. This does not affect your right of withdrawal as a consumer (below). A larger plan takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata, a smaller one at the end of the paid period. If you want to delete your account while a subscription runs, we cancel the subscription as of the end of the paid period and delete the account then; until then the service remains available to you, and you can withdraw the deletion.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
As a consumer you may withdraw from a contract with us within 14 days of concluding it, without giving any reason, by a clear statement to Auryan Ltd., Apt 5, 203, Tower Road, Sliema SLM 1602, Malta, telephone +356 7753 5914, email support@mysecretary.cloud; you may use the model form below. It is sufficient to send the statement before the period expires. We refund your payments no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment, at no cost to you. If you asked us to begin during the withdrawal period, you pay a proportionate amount for the service provided up to your withdrawal; once the service has been provided in full, the right of withdrawal ends.
Model withdrawal form: “To Auryan Ltd., Apt 5, 203, Tower Road, Sliema SLM 1602, Malta, support@mysecretary.cloud: I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: … – Ordered on (*)/received on (*): … – Name of consumer(s): … – Address of consumer(s): … – Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): … – Date: …” (*) Delete as appropriate.
Your obligations
You use the secretary only for your own meetings and tasks, not for advertising, mass mailings or emails to people you are not in contact with, and you give us only calendars you are entitled to share. If you breach these obligations, we may stop the secretary at once and terminate the contract without notice.
If you breach these obligations or otherwise misuse the service, we may suspend your account. While it is suspended, the secretary takes no requests and writes to no one; arrangements in progress end without notice to the participants, and meetings already scheduled remain in place. When we suspend your account, we cancel your subscription as of the end of the paid period. While the suspension lasts, you cannot use it; we do not refund paid periods. You can still sign in and delete your account.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and death or personal injury, and otherwise towards consumers as provided by law. Towards businesses and self-employed people, liability for slight negligence is limited to the payments of the last twelve months, excluding lost profit and indirect damage.
Data protection and processing on your behalf
How we process data is set out in the privacy policy. If you use the service as a business or self-employed person, we process third parties’ data from your requests, such as participants’ names and email addresses, as your processor (Art. 28 GDPR) only on your instructions as given in your requests and in these terms; for our own purposes only as the privacy policy states. We bind our staff to confidentiality, protect the data appropriately and use only the service providers named in the privacy policy, under the same obligations; we announce new ones in advance, and you may object. Transfers to third countries are made as the privacy policy describes. We assist you with data subjects’ requests and with your obligations under Art. 32–36 GDPR, notify you of personal data breaches without undue delay, delete the data within the periods stated there, demonstrate compliance on request and allow audits.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Maltese law applies; as a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the country where you live. For businesses and self-employed people, the courts of Malta have jurisdiction. The language of the contract is German or English, depending on the language in which you conclude it.
